About Shaun:

Shaun has been with Choice Comfort for 14 years and has 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He attended Northmont High School and Miami Valley Career Technology Center and holds his EPA certification and HVAC state license.

Shaun’s favorite part of his job is being a leader and seeing everyone work together as a team to take care of our customers. He also enjoys watching his team grow and develop in their careers.

Outside of work, Shaun enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and two kids, Noah and Hailey. He coaches his son’s baseball team and enjoys cheering on his daughter at sideline cheer and gymnastics. He is also a Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds fan.

Fun Fact: If he could spend his ideal day anywhere, it would be sitting at the beach all day!

This team came out to give us an estimate, options with a clear idea of the cost for each, and availability in the following two weeks to come back and do the work. When Shaun came to install our new boiler pump, he told me he’d done work on the boiler earlier this year, and installed a part on it a few years ago. He was familiar with what needed to be done, and put in the time to make sure everything was working as it should be before he left. Best part is the estimate we were given was the exact price we paid. It gives us confidence that this company is locally owned, and should we need additional work in the future, I appreciate knowing that because they have done work on our system in the past, they know how to fix it. Money well spent.

We’ve counted on Choice Comfort for years since they installed our AC/furnace. They’re always available when you need them, they’re reliable and efficient, and just about everyone you talk to there is super friendly. I’d highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs. This specific instance, Shaun was the tech who came out. We were one of “those people” who needed their unit serviced during a heatwave. He was super friendly and professional, quickly diagnosed our issue, and has fixed in a blink of an eye. We can rest easy now we have cool air flowing through our home again.

Shaun was great! Very friendly and efficient. Got our problem figured out and our A/C up and running as soon as he could. So glad our neighbors referred us to you! Update 5 years later....still doing a great job every time. Our go to for both Heating and A/C and now plumbing too. Just had Chris out today for a leaky toilet. Got it all fixed up and cleaned up in no time. And don't forget the girls in the office! Rachel is always kind and very helpful. She does a great job! Update 1/22/24 - Appreciate the speedy response when I called this morning with a furnace not working. Had a same day appointment, and Josh had it up and running in no time at all! He's been to our house multiple times for maintenance work and he's great!! Keep him around!! You guys are awesome!

Positive: Responsiveness To Whom it May Concern, We recently moved into a new home in Troy. When the weather started getting cooler we called Choice Comfort to have them show us how to use the boiler system. We were delighted that they were able to schedule us in a timely fashion. Jason arrived on Monday and set to work immediately only to discover that we had a leak in the boiler system. He decided to call upon his boss who was more familiar with this type of system. “The bearded wonder” or Shaun as he is otherwise known, helped to diagnose the problem. They put us back on the books and scheduled us for the next available morning which was Wednesday. I received a courtesy call from Jason first thing on Wednesday to let me know that they were on the way. I was so grateful that we would soon have heat for the winter ahead. I was greeted by Jason and Findley who were able to replace a pressure valve and get the system to build up pressure, thus allowing the heat to move throughout the house. Jason checked to make sure that each of the thermostats were all working and registering the correct heat. Both Jason and Findley were friendly, professional, and answered all of my questions while explaining how to use the boiler system in the future. I feel like I understand how to use the system moving forward. Jason offered to come back if the need ever arises. I am thankful for the quick remedy to our dilemma, and the helpful expertise of the men from Choice Comfort. I would recommend their services in the future. Service: Heating system repair
